Last summer, Maxime Turquer opened "L'Arche de Max," a store selling food, treats, and accessories for pets (dogs, cats, birds, and other small animals). A first for the town of Niederbronn-les-Bains.
The store is located at 23 Rue de la République. The premises, which previously housed a clothing store, remained closed for a year.

Maxime Turquer worked as a falconer for several years at a zoo near Argelès-sur-Mer. For the past three years, he has worked in the same capacity at the Zooparc in Beauval.
